Let this sink in: The EU has a population of 446 million people, yet has only a fractionally higher number of positive cases of Covid-19 than Georgia, with a population of 10 million. (5/8)

In other words, Georgia has as many infections over the last two weeks as the *entire European Union*, not counting Spain or Sweden—which have roughly 7,000 and 7,500 cases in that period. Though neither of these hot spots comes close to Georgia, with its 41,000 cases. (4/8)
