This is an unhelpful, short sighted analysis. Too many orgs raise hiring salaries while not adjusting current employees’ salary levels. Results in wage compression and disgruntled employees. New hires come in with same or better compensation without the creds and experience.
“Why does someone with fewer credentials makes more than me” is annoying not only because of the obliviousness to the reality that (1) compensation depends on value to others and (2) not all credentials have value of others, but also because of the crass jealousy.
@Garrett_Archer@RJ4arizona@Garrett_Archer Then there’s no way to know for sure? Seems there’s an important difference that should be publicly clarified. Can this be litigated?
@asymmetricinfo@aaronsibarium@bethanyshondark You can lose weight and keep it off as long as you’re taking the drug. Typically when you stop taking the drug the weight comes back. According to research
@PrezWisdom Jefferson - expanded executive power and national borders
Lincoln - his assassination changed history in ways we still feel
T Roosevelt - what history would we have if McKinley wasn’t assassinated?
FDR - the only one that broke 2 term tradition; vastly expanded executive power
I like Kelly as AZ senator but I’m not sure how picking him for VP helps the electoral map, or even get more Dems to the polls. Is he even known outside of AZ?
I’m hearing from multiple credible sources within Democratic leadership that Arizona’s @SenMarkKelly is emerging as the leading candidate for Vice President – at least as of this moment.
His centrist approach and anti-gun work is seen as both complementary and additive to Kamala Harris’ ticket.
Pennsylvania has more electoral votes, but Arizona is still significant and a key swing state. Kelly’s selection would take Arizona off the GOP target map.
Just voted to condemn VP Harris for her failures as “Border Czar.”
With nearly 10 million migrant encounters nationwide since Biden took office, the proof is in the numbers: the inaction from the White House has created utter chaos at the border.
🚨 UPDATE: The J23 insurrectionists here at the US Capitol are now being loaded into police vans and hauled off to jail
They’ll be getting 5-20 years like J6ers, right?

@timothysteller He should step down as president too. Dems could be more unified at their own convention and heading into the fall with Harris as the first black female president. Tough for Trump to win
Last night was more than a catastrophe for Biden. It was a catastrophe for an entire class of experts, journalists, and pundits, who have, since 2020, insisted that Biden was sharp as a tack, on top of his game, basically doing handstands while peppering his staff with tough questions about care for migrant children and aid to Ukraine.
Anyone who committed the sin of using their own eyes on the 46th president was accused, variously, of being Trumpers; MAGA cult members who don’t want American democracy to survive; ageists; or just dummies easily duped by “disinformation,” “misinformation,” “fake news,” and, most recently, “cheap fakes.”
Turned out our eyes worked just fine.

Pro Hamas activists tried to create a camp and disrupt commencement on UA campus. This is the second time in a couple of weeks. UA did the right thing to remove them and their equipment.
PPP loans were paid out during the pandemic because the government *forced businesses not to operate* as normal. This has zero bearing on loans that were willingly taken out by students, in a totally separate and unrelated realm. How stupid do you think we are?
The current status quo is NOT acceptable. If you're an AZ legislator or elected official - we need you fighting tooth and nail right now. It is time to deal with the ESA voucher mess and keep public money in our public schools...the ones chosen by 90% of AZ families.
