Improved library spaces - you’ve got it! @StGeorgesPlym are almost finished renovating their library. I love the clutter free, calm environment that they are creating, complete with beautiful shelving made by a talented parent. Before top, almost complete refresh below.
There are really great things happening at Tidcombe Primary. Their creative approach to developing a love of reading is matched by their rigorous systems to develop knowledge and a love of language and vocabulary. @TidcombeSchool @stchris_trust @OpenUni_RfP @voice21oracy

First time visit to @stsidwellsce as part of @stchris_trust vocabulary project. What a lovely, vibrant learning environment and the new library - wow! Thanks for making me so welcome and showing the shoots of something amazing in developing vocabulary and oracy across the school.
Great art work on display @StMattsAcademy, whether that is through the regular community art project or in Year 1 lessons, pupils at this excellent school and across @stchris_trust get a broad, balanced and well rounded education.
🏗️ SCAFFOLDING LEARNING! This NEW A3 poster unpacks the art of scaffolding—a precise, adaptive process that supports students ☝️upward, not lowering expectations👇downward. Inspired by the great work of @C_Hendrick & @Inner_Drive

Tidcombe Primary School moves mountains to ensure that it develops a love of reading. It was a pleasure to share one of my favourites with the children of Y2 today. @TidcombeSchool @stchris_trust @OliverJeffers
@stchris_trust goes the extra mile to work with colleagues both in and out of the Trust to develop inclusive practice. A massive thank you to the amazing and vastly knowledgable staff @St_Peters_Plym for their collaborative approach to improving educational practice.
Amazing art work being created by Y1/2 pupils at St George’s. The children are lucky to have an enthusiastic teacher who is also an artist in her own right, and be part of a Trust that supports our schools to encourage and develop creativity. #AllOurChildren@StGeorgesPlym
Great oracy and vocabulary being used in maths @PSMInfants school today. They are part of @stchris_trust vocabulary project with a focus on maths and EAL. Brilliant progress in pupils’ ability to use full sentences when explaining mathematical thinking.#AllOurChildren
Old Priory Juniors really do know how to engage children in their English learning. This writing around Kensuke’s Kingdom really grabbed the children’s interest and has lead to fantastic writing outcomes. #AllOurChildren#flourishingcommunities
Great Science Network day today, led by the immensely knowledgeable Allie Beaumont. @stchris_trust , we support our leads with high quality, impactful CPD. This means great teaching, children that love science and excellent progress. @STEMLearningUK#flourishingcommunities
Great that @StGeorgesPlym are able to celebrate the amazing achievement of @Argyle at the weekend. A lovely bonding experience for the children. Now onto topple Manchester City!
ear 4/5 had a visit from Babcock, an engineering company based in Devonport. They taught us all about landing crafts and what they are used for. We had a chance to design and make our own landing ship, and then we had to transport it from one side of the classroom to the other!
If you are an Early Years teacher of school leader why not join us for this excellent learning opportunity on 27th March. Contact details in the image. #flourishingcommunities

As part of their excellent work towards School of Sanctuary status. St George’s Primary have produced this excellent version of The Lord’s Prayer. #flourishingcommunities @stchris_trust
At some point in the next two or three weeks, you're going to need a child/family friendly Christmas Quiz for a class party or family get together. I made this one a few years ago - people tell me it works from About Yr 4 upwards - right up to adults.
