First time I met Barkey was at a Dance here where he performed alongside his partner Wickerman.

It was a weekend I can never forget ... because it was the same weekend when Buster Douglas became the first to defeat Tyson.
And Nelson Mandela walked out a free man out of that prison.

Barkey's sense of humor was second to none. And it was always there in his music as well . He was the first person to follow me when I got on Twitter too.

It will be the 13th anniversary of his passing on the 13th of this month
Rest in peace Barkey. We miss you bredda.
