Marriage is a dharmic sankalpa. It admits of no monetary valuation or compensation.

It can't be paid for. The husband-wife relationship is not a commercial contract. Any number put to a home-maker's work will insult the ethical sanctity of a marriage.

We have to mould our society by Dharm to learn to give higher respect to household work than a commercial one, beginning with stopping the insult by calling them non-working women.

We have to redefine Career as "maximum non-financial hours spent on family, community and the nation over and above ensuring basic livelihood". That will fix the respect part of it.

We require a contractor rating application hosted on a platform managed by the Government of India.
