Incredible weather and found the perfect time of day for a longer run. Plenty of mixed terrain and a healthy bit of mud. Great day for reflecting and setting springtime goals.
More snow overnight, sticking with the treadmill on a Monday, feeling much better tonight than the last couple of runs. Part of it is better sleep, but so much of it is the mental state I bring into the workout. Focusing more and more on that side of things.
It was a long weekend of kids’ sports and not much time for anything else, especially my planned long run! So I am grateful for the short tread workout I squeezed in tonight just before watching a replay of the Olympic Closing Ceremonies. Looking forward to some good runs this week!
Treadmill morning run while on work travel. Definitely feeling the effects of altitude and early morning wake up. About 5 weeks away from next half marathon.
