my main issue with the tadc finale isn’t that it didn’t answer every single question but actually HOW it answered questions
we spend the whole series building to these huge reveals and both times it was just explained via infodump
kinda have to agree. i enjoyed the therapy session but it has a serious case of anticlimax where it didn’t really amount to anything. it was more or less just jax exposition for the viewer with no resolution. caine also just being alive for some reason was also whatever lol
i think its funny when tadc diehards defend writting faults in tadc by " do you want everything spoonfeeded to you?" When this show have the most unsubtle and spoonfeed writting ever😭 ( saying that as a fan)
I want to like it so badly because there are genuine sparks of brilliance in the direction but holy shit you cannot be serious in telling me it was that easy to undo the events of episode 8.
tadc spoilers
I didn't like the finale. In my opinion it felt anticlimatic and like it was tying up loose ends by just telling us everything we were missing in a way it didn't feel natural.
Also I cant believe how easily they accepted they weren't real people and trapped there
