@LangmanVince She, like Shania, look ridiculous. SAD, but true, we all get older and have to have the grace to accept it and do the best we can with what we're left with. Acting your age is attractive, actually.
Elon: George Soros hacked the system to turn NGOs into graft machines
"He figured out that you could leverage a small amount of money to create a nonprofit, then lobby for the politicians to send a ton of money to that nonprofit.
So you can take what might be a $10 million donation to create a nonprofit and leverage that into a billion-dollar NGO.
The government continues to fund that every year, and it'll have a nice sounding name, like the Institute for Peace, or something like that, but really it's a graft machine."

My name is Ella, I'm 17 years old.
I do long jump. I play volleyball. I go to school in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
When my school allowed a biological male into the girls' restroom without telling parents —
I went to the school board.
With my name attached.
In my own town.
I got bullied for it. Harassed online. Even some of my own teachers came after me.
I'm still here.
Because here's what I know:
The net in women's volleyball is set nearly a foot lower for a reason.
A biological male can hit a ball across that net at force that could seriously injure a girl.
And in track — all it takes is three biological males entering the girls' category
and not a single girl in this state stands on a podium.
I didn't speak up because it was easy.
I spoke up because somebody had to.
The Supreme Court is about to answer the question every girl in America is asking.
We're ready.

🔔🔨 So when is this “overhaul” likely to happen?
Will accounts like mine be seen again? Will I get credit for what I post? Will views & engagements increase?
Will targeting stop triggering the algorithms to hide your account?
@elonmusk@TahaAlokad
@MattCas04807118 Let's hope so. Too many important voices have been clipped, silenced or no longer reach anyone. The overhaul better help people ask questions, present information and challenge the status quo or X has lost its relevence.
Music to my ears, X has killed my account.👏👏
They asked you to grow organically, have fun without being racist, homophobic or threatening and so I did, then they punish you.🙁
If any of you fine people could slap me on notification as me reaching you fantastic lot is a thing of the past at the moment.🙏
Tommy Tuberville just said what millions of MAGA voters have been screaming at Senate Republicans for years: stop begging weak Republicans to help President Trump and start playing hardball. Tuberville is now openly calling for GOP Senators to lose their committee chairmanships if they block nuking the zombie filibuster or side with Democrats on key amendments, and honestly, that pressure should have started a long time ago. Republicans keep acting shocked when nothing gets done, but then they protect Senators who sabotage the agenda while still rewarding them with power, influence, and leadership positions just because of “seniority.” Tuberville nailed the real problem. Too many committee chairs are there because they have been in Washington forever, not because they are the best fighters for the America First movement. The base is tired of hearing excuses, tired of hearing “process,” and tired of watching weak Republicans slow-walk Trump’s agenda while Democrats fight like every vote is war. Tuberville’s message is simple: if you want the power, then back the agenda. If not, step aside and let someone else do the job. That is the kind of pressure MAGA voters want to see from Senate leadership instead of endless compromise and excuses.
@AlderLaneEggs Bob Rennie, the marketer the industry calls its “condo king,” is no newcomer to a Vancouver condo bailout. The city’s troubled Olympic Village — a bailout that put taxpayers on the hook for some $740 million before it landed in receivership on Robertson’s watch in 2010 — was relaunched for sale the following year under Robertson’s council, with Rennie brought in to market the unsold units. As this writer reported in The Province in 2014, Rennie went on to organize an exclusive $25,000-a-seat lunch giving developers private access to Robertson, an arrangement that drew outrage as a case study in how real-estate money fills a governing party’s coffers. A decade on, Rennie has, by his own on-record account, lobbied Carney on a plan to have the federal housing agency backstop foreign-investor condo purchases, ahead of Carney’s federal election win. He has also hosted Liberal fundraisers featuring Carney as guest — one last February, a month after the Prime Minister returned from Beijing and announced a new strategic partnership with China.
None of this is alleged corruption. It is documented proximity.
Pierre Poilievre put it more bluntly. Carney, he said, “seems to have a bailout for anyone who’s part of the Liberal club of power brokers, corporate insiders and lobbyists.” He is the opposition leader — but the logic is hard to dispel. Carney has been lobbied by, and has filled his fundraising coffers at events hosted by, Vancouver developers who prospered selling condos into offshore demand, whose most prominent figure has pressed him to keep that market open, even at prices far beyond what Canadians earn.
@catturd2 What a travesty. A life of medical and mental health issues, pain and suffering, lack of identity and acceptance of self. A horrible punishment for making a bad decision driven by ideologies based on pure ignorance.
Communism through (my) ages:
1) When I was 15, a teacher told me "It isn't as bad as they say, and makes a lot of sense."
2) At about 19, college friends, "Socialism isn't communism."
3) At 20, on meeting my grandfather-in-law, "They are evil. We escaped in 1949."
4) At 30, "China is a wonderful developing Democracy"
5) At 35, I was sent to communist China on business. It was a crowded, smelly, dirty, factory of despair and hopelessness. This I saw with my own eyes.
6) At 36, "China doesn't count. Successful socialism is in northern Europe."
7) I moved to northern Europe when I was 40. It was much nicer than China, but also felt like I was living in the past. I had to wait 6 months for a hernia operation.
8) When I was about 45, the migrant crisis began. The socialist/globalist/pacifist allowed them entry into every country, regardless how many crimes they committed along the way. Just 20 minutes from my house, in Calais, I was shocked to see migrants jumping onto trucks, breaking open the doors, scattering the contents across the highway, then climbing in. They went through the Chunnel and got out in England.
9) At 52, the soft socialism around me had transformed into globalism. I was told I had to call people by their preferred pronouns, though it was a lie, and even if I didn't know what the preferences were. I quit.
10) I returned to the US, and am now 60. "Socialism" is no longer a dirty word here. People openly espouse the virtues of it. Politicians run as socialists and win.
Socialism has taken many forms, from the Bolshevism of Russia, to the CCP in China, the Nazis in Germany, Fascists in Italy, and the many forms of it found in Latin America. It is one of the two most destructive ideologies on earth. It is designed to deprive, despirit, and murder everything that comes in contact with it.
Socialism is a great lie at every level. It helps no one, not even those who benefit the most. This is because the cost is the imposition of one's will on everyone else, and that destroys the soul of the usurper and the life of the oppressed.
Socialism always fails on its own, but only after destroying almost everything in its train. It can also be conquered. Those are the options.
