Last weekend, I was able to attend the Associated Collegiate Press conference in La Jolla along with my extremely talented peers at Beach TV News where I’m proud to announce I placed First place for best “Non-News Video” given out by the California College Media Association & third nationally by ACP for “Best Broadcast: Sports story.”

I am so grateful to earn these honors as I had no idea what my path would be like when I transferred to CSULB. I didn’t know much about broadcasting or journalism at the time but I knew this where I wanted to be.

This is only the beginning!!! I’m ready to keep hustling

I have great news to share with you all today as I am excited to announce I will be interning with FOX Sports this Fall!

I will be working with the Original Programming team in Los Angeles as I will get to see how a sports television show is put together. Specifically, I will be working on FOX Sports Films and the FS1 Daily Studio Shows, that include "Undisputed" and "The Herd with Colin Cowherd".

Can't wait to start next week! Thank you to be everyone who has been with me along the way. Grateful for the support.

@aikibaske0520 This defeats the purpose of the checkmark, I remember being verified was actually earned and it was a big deal when someone you felt connected with in a certain community finally had a blue checkmark. Now just anyone can buy one and feel proud about it. #BeachSMC

This is an interesting read, I'm so used to having a linktree to show all my work. I think it serves better the way it is now because having too many links in a bio seems a bit messy unless they make it aesthetically pleasing to the consumer. #beachsmc

I don't own Twitter blue but it's annoying how ads have different tiers in pricing depending how much of them you see them on your timeline. People who are buying for the subscription still see a good amount of ads compared to those who don't. #beachsmc

@jade_waskom I'm not a TikTok user either, but I am a frequent twitter user on my personal account and I do agree having this option on other apps would make my social media experience way better, especially with Twitter's new algorithm. #beachsmc
