@washingtonpost People weren't allowed to vote against him or against his partner Hillary Clinton, so I don't suppose stopping people from saying no to other terrible things he and his administration want to do is all that far of a stretch from where we already are now.

@_JoAnnBP But other systems that allow you to vote different ways can also have a balanced ballot, as long as the option to vote for a candidate can always be swapped for voting against that same candidate instead.
@_JoAnnBP It depends on the system. The way most of the USA has voting set up right now, there's only allowed one candidate voted on for each elected office. Right now that has to be a vote for a candidate. A #balancedBallot would allow it to be a vote against a candidate, or for one.
@litLeaah_t If being single is the most important thing to you about a person, no wonder you're alone. I don't mean that as an insult, but as something to think about. All you're likely to get with that on your profile is jerks hitting on you who know nothing else about you.
@BakerPaul_JoAnn It does if they want to vote AGAINST a candidate. It also could keep votes against one unwanted candidate from turning into votes for another unwanted candidate. That would make every voter's voice count, for a change.
