@RealSimpleAriel @CFlanders7 October high is like 50% away lol. I have a $105 avg on my SLV short and was thinking daily 21ema (~$85-90) as the first target and then weekly 21ema (~$70 in a couple weeks) as the best case scenario.
Declining 50/200ema on hourly is an interesting approach. Thanks for sharing!
@RealSimpleAriel @CFlanders7 Hi Ariel, in such cases where youβre trying to catch a parabolic short and it starts to go down, do you have a target in mind (like 21ema, etc), or do you scale out partially and then trail the remaining?

@ClaytonS537144 @WayneWhaley1136 Good find there. Definitely identical. 2011 got pretty volatile after July. Letβs see if market follows the same suit this year.
@zentrader1254 $vxn is not actually up today. If you look at the intraday chart, it was trading at ~17.7 a few mins before close yesterday. There was a bad print at EOD yesterday that took it down to 11.2.
In reality VXN is red on the day today.
@QuantifiablEdgs Why do you think we are seeing this behavior? Clearly not seeing any panic selling in the broader indices yet.
$spy down 2.5% this week and $vix down 2% . Very interesting. Not sure if I have seen it before. Will need to backtest it.
