@KiwiStreamNZ Totally with you. New generation plants are very safe and efficiant. They even use nuclear waste that in the past must be stored for 1K years. After use it only needs storing for kess than 100 years. They are doing us a service while producing electricity for us.

@gaye_ess NZ has far too many radicals and extremists in our govt that are able to slip in because of MMP. They are given undue influence in our nation. Time to dump MMP NZ.

@gaye_ess When NZ voted for MMP in 1993 referendum it was a knee jerk reaction to what had been happening in 1st past post elections in previous decades. As it turns out MMP has not served NZ well. Half our MPs are not even elected. That is not democracy.

When I look at my moko, my grandson, whom I love more than anything, I ask one question:
What kind of New Zealand will he inherit?
I want him to grow up in a country built on hard work, fair pay, strong families, equal citizenship, democracy and the rule of law.
A country where he can work hard, raise a family, feel safe and believe his future is bright.
I will not apologise for loving New Zealand, and my moko should never be made to apologise for loving his country either.
This is bigger than politics for me.
It is about him.
It is about our children, our grandchildren and the country we leave behind.
I believe in one people, one law and one shared future.
