@WestMidRailway Yes this is where I appealed. I believe it is anything but fair. What are you officially meant to do if you miss your stop?

I missed my stop on a @WestMidRailway & was about to get off at the next stop which was no more than 2 minutes away. A ticket conductor appeared and asked to see my ticket, I showed him my valid ticket to the previous station and explained what happened. He issued me £100 fine.

@WestMidRailway They just said ‘I should have had a valid ticket’ which I did. What am I supposed to do in the 1-2 minute journey when I realised I missed stop? I was already panicking about getting back to my car and home to my newborn baby who was screaming down the phone (hence missing stop)

@WestMidRailway What are you actually supposed to do if you accidentally miss your stop? Its a 60p difference in fare and I got off immediately. A £100 fine seems wholly unjustified to me, especially when I had a valid ticket. It has upset me so much and caused real anxiety about travelling

@WestMidRailway 2/2 I was humiliated in front of the entire train. There was nothing else I could have done in the time frame. Its a 60p difference in fare cost & I did what I could to rectify an honest mistake. My appeal has been declined and I am so upset by the whole ordeal.

@TheRangeUK is this a joke? How is it our fault that none of the parts fit together properly, wood chipped with any pressure, the tracks are bent etc? Also noticed you deleted all the other reviews of product saying the same thing but luckily I screen shotted some of them.
