I’m calling it right now… Buncha meatball throwers pitching tomorrow and nobody is going to bet HRs because of Friday and Saturday.
There will be 50+ home runs tomorrow. I’m manifesting it right now.
3. Drake Baldwin (Braves) @ Baltimore
• Faces Shane Baz (RHP, ~4.13 ERA, relatively low ~0.69 HR/9).
• Camden Yards has mixed/recently more neutral-to-favorable HR factors depending on the day (historically hitter-friendly in some years). Baldwin is red-hot with 5 second-half HRs and gets a decent overall environment.
2. Jackson Merrill (Padres) @ Miami
• Faces Janson Junk (RHP, ~5.09 ERA, ~1.43 HR/9, 11 HR in 69 IP). Junk has been especially vulnerable to lefties (high wOBA against LHB).
• loanDepot park is generally pitcher-friendly, but Junk’s recent form and the LHB matchup still give Merrill a meaningful boost.
1. CJ Abrams (Nationals) vs. Arizona
• Faces Miles Mikolas (RHP, ~5.60 ERA, ~1.93 HR/9 this season — very elevated, with 21 HR allowed in ~98 IP).
• Nationals Park is roughly neutral-to-slightly favorable. Abrams (LHB) gets a solid platoon edge and is already hot with 5 second-half HRs. Clear top HR boost on the list.
