As someone who has watched GOT about 457 times, the ppl that complain about this being the way the Night King died are ppl that do not pay attention to foreshadowing. It was foreshadowed SEASONS before. The Red Woman first met Arya when she was with the Brotherhood and told her she will close many eyes… ���Brown eyes, green eyes, BLUE eyes. Eyes you'll shut forever” she saw Arya was going to become a killer, a trained assassin. Shit was a prophecy!
Then she said the same shit again to her during the battle which prompted Arya to go to look for the Night King.
The move she used also was foreshadowed when she trained with Brianne when she first came back to winterfell. Brianne caught her in the same way the Night King did and Arya hand switched the dagger.
Yall just mad that Jon Snow ain’t kill him cause he was the one pressed bout the Night King for like 5 seasons straight.
