Dear Apple,
My 64GB iphone should have 64GB of storage! 30GB should not be taken up by “IOS” and “System Data” that is not deletable or manageable by me!
@kaimicahmills I will not eat the man-made meat-sack meat. That’s an abomination, it spits in the face of all that is good on this earth.
Man-made horror beyond human comprehension. Total dystopian nightmare.
Transhumanists would rather fill the world with these nightmarish abominations than accept the fact that their morality is fundamentally flawed.
There is NOTHING morally wrong with slaughtering animals. Livestock can be raised and slaughtered 100% humanely. They can live happy, healthy lives, and have painless, stress-free deaths. I know this for a fact, as that's how we do it on our farm.
In nature, prey animals depend on predators to keep their numbers in check, and prevent them from destroying their own environment and, thus, themselves through overpopulation. In ethical animal husbandry, humans have simply taken on the role of a supremely benevolent apex predator that grants their "prey" lives and deaths that are far, FAR better than those their wild counterparts get to experience.
Thus, converting wilderness to farms already results in a HUGE decrease of animal suffering, and on truly ethical farms, animals don't suffer at all.
Hence, I believe pushing for cruelty-free farming is a much better and healthier strategy than trying to spawn horrific, brainless flesh robots in an effort to solve a non-existent moral problem.
@70133x I saw something like that a few years ago under an ordinary thread. I reported it and twitter didn’t do anything. It ruined me for days, I can’t believe the world we are living in.
Asking for more grace for the person who shouted a racist slur instead of for Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo, who had to push through being embarrassed in front of their peers.
But that’s often the expectation — that Black people are just supposed to be ok with being disrespected and dehumanized so that other people don’t feel bad.
So my takeaways are,
1. If we have a disability we don’t have to apologize when we harm people.
2. You can’t be racist if you have a disability.
3. As a Black person I should have an unlimited capacity of empathy, grace and understanding while receiving none.
4. Impact of our actions don’t matter as long as that wasn’t our intention.
Did I miss anything?
@almeksikiya Hispanics were protesting to keep segregation intact in the 60s. They fought to be classified as white and only abandoned the notion once Black Americans won our civil rights so they could siphon our benefits.
