CONGRESS APPEARS TO BE HIDING THEIR NEW STOCK TRADES.

Been posting about this for days, but don’t see anyone covering it.

I have code that detects when new congressional financial disclosures are filed.

It has seen four new filings in 2024, but none have been made publicly available.

This means that the public cannot see new stock trades by the House of Representatives.

The STOCK Act is supposed to require that new disclosures are made publicly available.

Hoping we can all draw enough attention to this to get answers on why this does not seem to be the case.

I will be posting updates.

Nancy Pelosi said she would bring a vote on congressional stock trading as Speaker.

She never did.

Kevin McCarthy said he would bring a vote on regulating congressional stock trading as Speaker.

He never did.

We'll see if Speaker Mike Johnson will bring a vote.

Rep. Mike Johnson says the federal government used Twitter to censor American's speech:
