@ABCitizenJames @ABCitizenJames You should do a bit of research before making bold statements like this. The constitution of the Alberta NDP says one needs only be a Canadian resident to join the party. Of the big 3 parties in Canada, only the Conservatives seem to require citizenship to join.

@robfoot Looks like the USA is running about a 20% definitely budget deficit this year compared to the Canadian Federal Deficit of about 9%.
Are you suggesting that Canada should just reduce taxes and run a deficit more like that in the USA?

As per the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, TOTAL federal debt (accumulated since 1867) is at around 1.2 Trillion, and each Canadians share of that would be about $31,000.
Since the UCP took power in 2019 they have added about $10,000 per person to each Albertan's debt.

@StegoSarahs It will depend on your insurance. I've had insurance where I needed a referral in order to be covered for physiotherapy, and at other times (with different insurance) no referral was needed.
