two things were dangled in front of bts for the longest time. military exemption and the grammy. and in both cases they took the reins of the systems that tied them to exploitative schemes with the promise of a reward that was always just out of reach. hope they feel lighter now
paving the way doesnt always mean the first to win an award, it means the one who makes impact where it matters and allows for those who follow in their footsteps to be seen and treated fairly too. that is what bts are doing, and that takes courage
Vim de uma época army que era vergonhoso gostar do bts e agora n estou acostumada a ver pessoas de fora do fandom elogiar eles, me sinto mãe dos sete cheia de orgulho
being an army long enough to see 25 year old jungkook perform at his first world cup and now seeing him join his hyungs 4 years later with all the tannies performing at the world cup final
“why do you love bts so much?”
cause they love their fans so much that they immortalised us in their music making sure we’d always be part of their story
