For the second day in a row, everyone has been laughing at this video.
Yesterday, Putin, dressed in military uniform, allegedly made a rare visit to the front line, to one of the auxiliary command posts. In reality, it was a film set inside a bunker. As we can see, they have a lot of props in that bunker:
😅 A camouflage net was hung inside the building.
😅 The flooring, lighting, and acoustics all look like those of a studio.
I wonder how many times they rehearsed it?
💥 INVESTIGATION: After 4 years of Russia's full-scale war, firms effectively controlled by Russian or Belarusian interests still operate across Europe. Russian millionaire Vasily Smetanin, tied to Sberbank, does business via Polish firms. @VSquare_Project https://t.co/oru9EggGTh
Russia, a state that claims to be a defender of Christianity, deliberately destroying Christian sites of global importance because they care much more about trying to erase Ukrainian culture, and they want to deflect attention from their own battlefield humiliations.
To everyone desperately pushing Russian flags and anthems back into sports, giving Russia space on cultural platforms, selling components that later end up in Russian missiles and drones, and doing business as usual:
Did we all miss the moment the war supposedly ended? Or the moment Russia stopped killing Ukrainians?
I thank every state and leader who supported Ukraine’s proposal for a full ceasefire. Russia responded to it only with new strikes and attacks. Throughout the entire day, almost every hour, reports of strikes have been coming in from different regions of Ukraine.
Ukraine will act in kind. Depending on the situation overnight and tomorrow, we will also determine our fully justified responses.
Russia has received from us a clear proposal on silence of the guns and diplomacy – and knows how to contact Ukraine or our partners in order to coordinate the details.
If the one person in Moscow who cannot live without war cares only about one parade and nothing else, that’s a different story. Ukraine is ready to work for peace. Ukraine seeks to end this war with dignity. Russia has fought to the point where even its main parade now depends on us. This is a clear signal: Enough is enough.
@Ministryof_monk@wartranslated@ChrisO_wiki There are a number of military facilities there. I lived nearby, close to the Chkalovsky military airfield, which is located beyond Balashikha.
🇳🇱 PM JETTEN: Russians are losing badly right now. They're losing enormous numbers of Russian troops on the front. Russian economy is in incredibly bad shape, and pressure in Russian society is increasing.
This is the moment to provide Ukraine with extra financial and military support. To impose new sanctions on Russia. To ensure that we release 90 billion euros to Ukraine very quickly and speed up negotiations with Ukraine regarding their future in Europe.
In the meantime, we're not going to let ourselves be intimidated by Russian threats. We're not going to let ourselves be blackmailed by Russia. In fact, we're looking at how Dutch and Ukrainian companies can cooperate better for security of Ukraine and security of Netherlands.
Another night has proven that Russia does not deserve any easing of global policy or lifting of sanctions. Russia is betting on war, and the response must be exactly that: we must defend lives with all available means, and we must also apply pressure for the sake of peace with the same full force. I am grateful to those in the world who work with us in this way and who help Ukraine in a timely and comprehensive manner, fully aware that every act of support truly matters for saving lives. I thank Germany, Norway, and Italy, with whom we have already reached new agreements on supporting our air defense. We are working with the Netherlands on additional supplies.
In the morning, I received a report from the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Nearly 700 Russian drones were launched over the previous day, into the evening, and throughout the night. There were also missiles – 19 ballistic ones, as well as cruise missiles during the night. Most of the ballistic missiles targeted Kyiv. 636 drones and some of the missiles were shot down. Unfortunately, not all. There were hits and damage to ordinary residential buildings. Tragically, there are fatalities in Odesa, Kyiv, and Dnipro. Among those killed is a boy – he was 12 years old. My condolences to the families and loved ones. As of now, 100 people are reported wounded as a result of this single massive Russian attack.
There can be no normalization of Russia as it is today. Pressure on Russia must work. And it is important to fulfill every promise of assistance to Ukraine on time. There are many political commitments by partners that have already been announced but not yet implemented – including within the Ramstein format and on a bilateral basis. I have instructed the Commander of the Air Forces to contact those partners who earlier committed to providing missiles for Patriot and other systems. I expect a report on the results.
Russian “progress” in a nutshell:
2022: “The whole world to dust. Alaska is ours. Kyiv in 3 days, Paris in 4.”
2026: googling “where to flee Russia if you’re a Z supporter?”
@PinheadKing In my superflex league, I also have the 1.02 pick. I’m hoping to take Mendoza. Aside from Daniels, my recent drafts have been pretty horrible for quarterbacks Richardson and Pickett lol.
ZELENSKYY: Russia started war, committed war crimes, occupied part of our country. It's not just land — it's homes, people's lives. They stole childhood from our children.
That's why, when we are asked what compromises we are ready to make, it sounds UNBELIEVABLY STRANGE to us.
European allies are publicly and privately telling American diplomats that Russia is directly and materially helping Iran's war efforts beyond what the U.S. will publicly acknowledge. 1/4
The timing of the Trump administration's lifting of oil sanctions on Russia and potash Belarus is, of course, because of the economic crisis caused by the Iran war, but the underlying reason is the years-long desire by Trump and those around him to lift sanctions on Russia. 🧵
