This was the ACTUAL rationale for not holding anyone accountable for stealing (er, “misappropriating”) $10 million in FL taxpayer money: “Despite our finding that the money was misappropriated, we find insufficient evidence to charge anyone criminally, Nobody will take responsibility for deciding the $10 million of taxpayer money would go to Hope Florida… or had any memory of who made it. We recognize that this would be an impediment to criminal prosecution. While we can't prove who is responsible, we can plainly see that taxpayer money was misused for political purposes and we would like to see changes made to prevent this from happening again." — Just pathetic. This is just nuts. Federal law says if a toxic substance poses unreasonable risk, EPA has to limit or block it. In this case, according to reviewed consent orders, EPA apparently found such risk for two data center chemicals and approved anyway. Congress must demand answers.

Norway: Massive Russian DDoS attack on government digital services.

Since August 24, key Norwegian online services—such as ID-porten, MinID, Altinn, and digital mail services—have been the target of a massive DDoS attack. Digdir describes it as the largest attack of this kind on its systems to date.

As of now, there is no evidence of data theft or a successful breach; the apparent aim is to cripple the services.

The pro-Russian hacker group "Server Killers" has claimed responsibility for the attack, citing Norway's support for Ukraine as the motive.
