A sensational drive from @nyckdevries to bring home P1 for @MahindraRacing. 🇮🇳
A result that reflects the team’s grit, belief, and growing momentum on track. Proud to witness the Indian anthem echo through Monaco today.
Recognition by TIME magazine, naming Mahindra among the world’s 50 Best Companies is meaningful in itself.
But when our team unearthed this clip from our 2012 leadership conference (where I refer to the Group aspiration we articulated in 2011), it made this milestone both extraordinarily satisfying and humbling.
At our 2011 annual leadership conference in Mumbai, we held a town hall with 500 leaders, which I co-moderated with Arun Maira, then a member of the Planning Commission. The objective was to ‘co-create’ a shared, time-bound vision for the Group.
I recall we floated several ideas. Given that this was a mission with a deadline, unlike our enduring Core Purpose of ‘Rise,’ I expected the room to lean toward a financial target. Perhaps a revenue milestone or a market cap goal.
They did exactly the opposite.
They argued that even a time-bound ambition should be of a higher order; something that would make them want to come to work every day.
The collective view was simple: if we aspired to become one of the world’s most admired companies, the numbers would follow.
To paraphrase a now well-known expression: when you truly want something (good) the universe conspires to help you achieve it.
The horizon we set was ten years. We overshot it by a few. But to have achieved what we once called an ‘outrageous ambition’ is deeply fulfilling.
So yes, perhaps the universe did play its part.
But in truth, this recognition belongs to our associates who carried that aspiration forward, quietly and consistently, building with purpose every day.
And finally, our gratitude to our customers across all our companies, who have, quite simply, been the wind beneath our wings.
A “Company of the Year” takes decades to build.
It begins with a vision, is anchored in strong values, and is shaped over time by many capable hands.
This recognition belongs to the many associates and leaders who have built the Mahindra Group over the decades.
Proud to see @MahindraRise ranked #5 in TIME’s Asia-Pacific Best Companies 2026, rising from #115 last year. And, now the highest ranked company from India.
This recognition, developed by TIME in collaboration with Statista, evaluates companies across three pillars: employee satisfaction, three-year revenue growth, and ESG performance measured through standardized sustainability KPIs.
Our journey has always been anchored in purpose and values. The trust we've built and a clarity of vision have helped us balance performance with principles.
This milestone belongs to all our associates and past leaders who have built the Mahindra Group over many decades. They have lived our values, led with an entrepreneurial spirit and driven strong performance through many tough times.
We celebrate this together, with humility for how far we have come and confidence in what we will build next.

Deeply saddened by the passing of #PiyushPandey, a creative legend whose storytelling transformed Indian advertising.
His visionary leadership on some extraordinary campaigns for @MahindraRise reflected his genius and empathy in equal measure.
We will always remember his affable personality and timeless creativity. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and admirers.

Resilience is the ultimate key to success—whether in business or on the road.
When we enter new markets overseas, we have to go the distance.
And our vehicles have to go the distance as well…
This Mahindra Pik-Up just clocked 1M kms on its original engine. No rebuilds, no replacements.
Kudos to Valley Express in Australia for showing how purpose and performance go the distance.
Keep rising!
