I know healthcare is under real and enormous pressure. Despite this yesterday folk from SA Ambulance, the CFS, MFS, SA police, an off duty nurse, and the ED at the Lyall McEwin hospital (and my son's excellent employer) all worked seamlessly ... A good news story. Very grateful

Childcare/kindy/school not about education but enabling parents to work.
International students are welcome not for their (and our) education but as labour.
Children should drive forklifts (?!)... vocational education and training anyone?

My (almost) 17 year old just started a carpentry apprenticeship.

Came home and told me "I used a bit of pythagoras today".

Turns out high school maths is useful! Who knew?
