@AnisMehmeti from Day 1 of your trial in 2020, your dribbling, fitness & self-belief were obvious. Your dedication, capacity to learn & determination have seen you📈.
Thanks for all you’ve done for paving the way for future young Wanderers. Keep pushing.
Here’s your 1st goal!
Must be a word somewhere in the world, to describe the joint feeling of shared excitement when a friend leaves to pursue a goal, combined with a sadness they’ve left.
Outstanding man, team-mate, & mentor, that I’m sure will continue to set standards & help those around him.
@hbrooks_coach We were discussing it in training with the players this week. When’s it most effective? General thoughts, it’s best used to move a defender out of position. Less helpful to gain a yard for a cross/shot.
As disappointing as today’s result was, it’s been an immense season, with @wwfcofficial again punching above their weight. Love the club, staff, players & fans. Who’ve gained a new 1 for life, in my previously uninterested oldest. Look forward to making more memories next season
Remember the first touch Kroos uses to "dribble" past opponents?
Thiago takes it to a new level: he purposefully uses "poor" body orientation when receiving to invite his opponent to tackle, then aims the first touch behind him and turns, using his rival's momentum against them.
@DanAbrahams77@michaelgervais Enjoy both your podcasts greatly. Love the blend of guests that will inform my practice, but also those from less obvious backgrounds or with a different story to tell. Keep up the great work.

@petecouhig We all couldn’t be happier for Olly. Yesterday’s performance is a great example of the club’s positive and developmental culture. It embraces talented, hard-working young players, guiding them and providing 1st team opportunities.
@GeirJordet@Pirlo_official “Scanning” is increasingly being encouraged in training. However it’s often without reference to significant and irrelevant information. I enjoyed Pirlo’s explanation of his first scan being for pressure (leading to positional adjustment), his 2nd for space to play into.
