I am very proud of Cerys, who during lockdown 2020 did her Brownie charity badge & started collecting foil. She then asked the village to help her & they have ever since! She is so much more than her #Autism, she is a caring girl who shows her love practically. @Girlguidingnys

2/2 much discussion about people being able to vote from the age of 10 but now we are holding a vote!!

1/2 We are having a debate as part of our #ParliamentWeek2022 - question is “Should under 18s be able to vote?” - lots of points including “under 18s have an opinion too and we should be listened too”

@3rdVale It’s milk with food colouring dropped in (don’t touch the milk) and then you drop washing up liquid in which reacts and moves the food colouring (see video) - this is a brownie UMA called Milk Masterpiece if you have a local unit who could show you the card?

@owlyowly4 Our blue food colouring didn’t sit on the top like the others for some reason but the girls didn’t seem to mind too much - they really enjoyed stirring the tray at the end to make “a yucky colour” !!

While the girls let off a bit of steam and leaders were tidying up - Snowy Owl made a discovery - well who knew? We certainly didn’t!!!
Note - we also tried red and blue colouring but they didn’t change colour!!!

We had a planning meeting last night - lots of exciting things to come this term - email to parents will be on its way in the next few days!!
We also took the opportunity to tidy the Brownie cupboard - note to leaders - we need to keep it tidy!! 🤣🤣🤣
