Jason Timpf thinks Klay Thompson can THRIVE in Miami:
“Miami when they’re with their core lineups, is going to have the luxury of constantly having a rim protector. With that, that makes Klay Thompson job pretty easy. He’s a very smart and big defender. That gives him a strong foundation that he knows when he gets beat, he has help behind him.
When I look at Klay, yes he’s not the same defensive mobile athlete he was when younger, or the same high level movement shooter but what he can do is do both things pretty well. If you make the job easier on both fronts, I think he can thrive”

Emmanuel Acho on what the Miami Heat are building: “Their DNA will be that of CHAMPIONS.” 😮💨🔥
“I don’t know why people aren’t making a bigger deal about what they’re [Miami Heat] building. They’re building a roster of a whole bunch of champions. You can’t acquire a whole bunch of winners and expect to lose. It just doesn’t happen. If you’re made up of CHAMPIONS, your DNA will be that of CHAMPIONS. I love what Miami’s building.”

9 Days Until Canes Football
10/23/14: Miami 30-VT 6
There were other players in this game against VT, but no one was on 8’s level in this one. As @365canesinfo would say, it was Duke Johnson bananzas as he went for 285 total yards and 2 scores. #canescountdown@CanesInSight
Gilbert Arenas says Bam Adebayo vs Chris Bosh is a GREAT comparison:
“The reason that’s great one is because Bosh had to sacrifice being a superstar in Toronto. I was gonna say I’ll give it to Bosh because if he didn’t have the skills he had, that wouldn’t have worked but because he was a floating big that was also a ISO 1 on 1 guy, he was needed.
But that’s the same thing with Bam. Bam sacrificed all the potential he has to dominate. If you’ve seen any highlights of him with team USA, he is dominating the 1s. That’s a great comparison”

13 Days Until Canes Football
12/31/25: Miami 24-Ohio St 14
Beating Texas A&M was huge, but this game was program building statement by Mario and his Canes. Keionte Scott’s INT is an all time Miami football moment. #canescountdown@CanesInSight
Rich Paul believes adding Klay Thompson makes the Heat a bigger threat to win the East:
“If Klay gets hot, you can say what you want, he shot just as good as his counterpart (Steph). One thing we’re not taken into consideration is the quality of life. You damn right it makes you play better. You go in that arena and see that all white.
They have THJ too. He can shoot it. — Post trade deadline, talk to me about predictions. Of course It goes up. You’re adding experience, skillset, it goes up for sure. He will play better in Miami”

Ryan Conwell: 41.1%
Andrew Wiggins: 40.6%
Myron Gardner: 39%
Davion Mitchell: 38.4%
Klay Thompson: 38.3%
