A profile journaling the adventures of being a dad for the 1st time. Based in the UK.
Hopefully this helps other 1st time dads!
Proud Dad to a 5 month old boy
Any questions a new Dad has feel free to ask on this pinned post. I might not have all the answers but I'll hopefully be able to help. Or others might be able to as well 😍

Part of being a dad some days is waking up early after a shit nights sleep and taking your morning poo with a spectator.
Ps sorry i've been absent. Life has been a bit mad and I didnt handle it the best.

I've not posted for a while and if I'm being honest, its because I've felt inadequate as a Dad and a Partner so didnt really have much to share.
However, a week or so of feeling better mentally, in my relationship and with my son and I'm ready to start spouting bollocks again😂
Part of what makes being a present and active dad hard is the lack of time for yourself.
It's either stay up slightly later or wake up earlier than beforehand for you time.
There is nothing sweeter than your own company to decompress and relax

A great walk yesterday during a day off.
Only slightly let down by the lack of baby change facilities in any of the toilets.
Slowly learning that roughing it and changing the boy on a piss stained floor will be the way forward for me and Cooper.

How do other dads do a full day at work and then be uber active at night with a new born?
Felt like the worst trial in im a celeb last night and I'm just getting started 😂
At least today I start work later
1st day back at work. 12 hour shift. Only just starting to see the end...
Then home to relieve mum of her long day with Baba.
Espresso has been drank, tears may be shed

Last day before I go back to work.
Is it normal to feel upset and excited all in one? Nervous for how work will be when I go back and creating a more strict work/life balance.
Time for a nice meal out and a relaxing evening in

An early morning walk with just me and the boy. Letting mum get a cheeky bit of extra rest.
Plus sometime with just him and I which is so important for the bonding (even if he was asleep the whole time)
