@jeff_gluck Late night Saturday hits different than late night Sunday. And people have a lot more responsibilities come Monday morning than they would on a Sunday morning.
@jeff_gluck@SiriusXMNASCAR Isn't that the same crap that's ruined Texas? I really wish the EPA would put a ban for on that crap. It's gotta be bad for health and the environment, in addition to ruining racing
@nascar_opinion 200 laps AFTER the eliminations? Bass ackwards. All comers :150 laps, top 16 advance. Then 50 laps, top 8 advance. Then 10 laps for the final round. A ten lap 8 car shootout seems to fit what NASCAR has been trying to do.
@DirtyMoMedia I'll go along with the ditch the All-star crowd here. Every race is an all-star event, and they've dropped the criteria to make the all-star race to the point of why bother having it. Give Dover the 37th point race.
@PopeBrodus24@jeff_gluck According to FOX's cameras nobody could pass, but there's a lot of passing in the clusters of cars midpack. But since it's not for the lead, TV viewers never get to see it.
@JLRobertson264@jeff_gluck They're most likely butthurt Hendrick fans. The same ones that said Texas was a great race just because Little Miss Popularity Contest won.
@DuszGlenn@saulrealgood@jeff_gluck And the first true Superspeedway was built when? 1959, five years later.
But some fans really prefer "hold the wheel straight and the throttle wide open" on tracks where actual skills matter so little, anyone, even Michael Waltrip, can win on them.
@GoDucks5_Mick@racingkhantz A driver I used to pit for had a code when he was sick of another driver's BS... "my brakes feel funny". Every time he said it, someone was getting punted.
@DirtyMoMedia I've heard that the fuel saving is because it takes less time to change tires than take a full tank. Mostly from people that want five lugnuts. Compromise... force manual lug wrenches, make it take a little longer to change tires.
