@TheHondad@RacingTerritory@ElisaMaria Hard to believe the auto capital of the US has only 5 Cup winners…
There have been more foreign born winners across the Cup Series
NASCAR races are absolutely too long.
How can we shorten them? No need for 7 laps of caution for single car spins. Or artificially stopping the race so TV can get more commercials in. Nowadays with the Max in-cars, I tend to focus on them more than the TV broadcast
@jdloveskicks Right. So in a 20-40 minute span depending on the track length and clean up time, we can 1-5 minutes of racing. Its unacceptable. Thats the issue
We’ve shorten race distances from 500 to 400 miles enough. That isnt where my “shorter races” issue lies
@wannabekraze Baseball fans complained games got too long because of downtime. They implemented a pitch clock and ratings skyrocketed. I never complained about race lengths. It shouldnt take 15 minutes to clean up routine cautions
@RossLane17 I said nothing about race lengths. The times of races is out of hand because the tower takes way too long and throws 2 unnecessary cautions every National Series race.
@SJx22_@TheHondad Im with you.
Its worse in the lower series. They dont need 3 stages at all. “Halftime” would be far better if they want to keep going down this road
[Actions Detrimental] Denny Hamlin suggests that the Cup race at Nashville should be shortened to 300 miles. (u/ZilischsPoopyPants) #NASCAR

@reallynascar Thats correct. In their case, and all others, TV wanted more playoff games. TV wants an NFL game on seemingly every day of the week now. Its all about making money
