According to a column by Woody Paige, multiple sources report that the Monforts may be selling an additional 35% of the Rockies to the Penner Sports Group when MLB is under a new collective bargaining agreement.

The purchase would make Greg and Carrie Penner the majority owners of the Rockies. The Monfort family would still be minority owners, keeping around 20% of the team.
