Guy: Oga, I am getting married in Enugu and sending you an invitation.
Me: Congratulations! The only thing is that I won't make it as I hardly travel to Nigeria.
Guy: Oga, I know but you can send your transport fare.
I am still wondering how to respond. We are acquaintances and not close friends. He did something for me once and I was grateful. I am in his debt but this is unexpected.
If I was not going to be there, why should I send transport fare? I would prefer to help in another way and in kind. Wedding registries need to become more popular.
This brings another issue of the obligations friends and family impose without considering that you may have not included them in your plans and budgets. Any contingency budgeting I do is for medical emergencies and not needless events.
I have a policy of not doing any funeral contributions anymore. They have also stopped adding me on WhatsApp groups for those things.
One friend made me the Chairman of his Catholic church’s harvest twice. I have never been to the church. I warned him the third time he tried it and stopped giving.
I prefer to give with joy rather than to give with a grudge. I have far too many family obligations already to do charity. My closest friends know and understand this. Some even sent me money recently when they heard that I had surgery and was at home. I didn't ask them for it but I was very grateful. They know I would do much more for them when I can.
“Nothing impoverishes a man faster than unbridled generosity” - Prof Osuide.
You need to see the joy on olodos' faces when a very academically sound person doesn't succeed in life. They relish it. It's almost as if it gives them more reasons to talk down on education and intelligence.
When we were graduating, after I finished as the top student in my class, many of my coursemates were really eager to see how I would turn out. In fact, I would always hear them gossiping: "No be by Best Graduating Student. To make am for life no be by acada. Street na military. We go see."
I'm glad I turned out really well. Even most of those who went to Ghana for "updates" after school and eventually resorted to fraud can't measure up to my accomplishments. Till today, many of them still randomly call me and jokingly ask, "Senior man, you just dey chop dey go. You no wan give men update na!"
Deep down, they genuinely believe I must be secretly involved in fraud. This is the society we live in, where many young people have come to believe that you can't succeed legitimately, and that every young man who is doing well for himself must be involved in fraud. Even many elderly people and police officers aren't exempt from this line of thinking.
I haven't seen a country that is trying so hard to make education unattractive like ours.
"School na scam."
"No be by BSc. You get BTC?"
"Education is the key to success. Oya, use the key start Benz na 😂."
"Lecturer pack 1999 Camry, student don pack Lexus beside am."
If we continue this way, in a few years, there will be nothing left of our educational system. We are so money-centred that we don't even realize education can be an end in itself and not necessarily just a means to an end.
Everything has become, "How much do you have in your account?" or "Use your intelligence buy Benz na."
This is one of the reasons it really hurts me to see highly intelligent and brilliant people end up poor. I'm always rooting for academically sound people to succeed because I genuinely want people, especially young people, to see that you can make it legitimately through hard work and academic excellence.
Any society where only the olodos become financially successful while the brighter minds, the ones who believe in due process, continue to struggle is a society that is bound to fail.
What I have noticed about wildly successful entrepreneurs is that they may not be the best people to teach principles of entrepreneurial success.
I love listening to Dangote interviews/talks. But learn just as much from University professors at Harvard who don't own businesses
My 8yo daughter met a girl at summer camp last year named "Internet." I said no way, that can't be her name but my daughter has been adamant. For almost a year we've been having this discussion.
ANTOINETTE. I just found out her name is Antoinette.
THE WAR ABOVE THE WORLD
DISCLOSURE AS A SPIRITUAL EVENT
How Disclosure Reveals the True Battle in the Heavens, and Becomes the World’s Last Great Deception
Keeping Faith in the Face of the World’s Final Spiritual Deception, and Standing in the Armor of God When Disclosure Arrives.
Disclosure Will Unveil the Unseen Realm, Not the Universe.
The world imagines disclosure as a scientific unveiling. But Scripture reveals that the true unveiling at the end of the age is spiritual.
Paul writes:
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
(Ephesians 6:12)
Disclosure will not introduce humanity to new beings. It will expose the realm Scripture has spoken of from the beginning.
The world will call them “extraterrestrials.”
Scripture calls them principalities, powers, watchers, fallen ones, angels, hosts.
The unveiling is not cosmic.
It is apocalyptic, a revealing of what has always been there. This is the unseen realm breaking into the seen.
Disclosure Will Strike the Human Spirit Because It Touches the Question of Worship.
The first commandment is:
“You shall have no other gods before Me.”
(Exodus 20:3)
Disclosure will tempt the world to break this commandment on a global scale. The temptation will not be scientific curiosity. It will be worship.
The world will say:
• “These are our creators.”
• “These are our guides.”
• “These are the ones who shaped our religions.”
• “These are the ones we must listen to now.”
This is not science.
This is idolatry.
It is the return of the ancient lie:
“You shall be as gods.”
(Genesis 3:5)
Disclosure is the serpent’s whisper amplified through technology.
Disclosure Will Reinterpret the Supernatural as Technological
Paul warns of:
“lying signs and wonders.”
(2 Thessalonians 2:9)
These signs are spiritual, but the world will interpret them as technological.
The world will say:
• “This is advanced energy.”
• “This is higher‑dimensional physics.”
• “This is ancient technology returning.”
But Scripture says:
• “Satan himself transforms into an angel of light.”
(2 Corinthians 11:14)
The deception is not in the phenomenon.
It is in the interpretation. This is the essence of the strong delusion.
Disclosure Will Be a False Pentecost. When the Spirit was poured out, the world was shaken. When deception is poured out, the world will be shaken again.
Pentecost brought:
• unity
• awe
• supernatural signs
• a sense of divine presence
Disclosure will mimic these:
• global unity
• awe and wonder
• signs in the heavens
• a sense of cosmic presence
But instead of the Spirit of God, it will be the spirit of deception.
John warns:
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit,
but test the spirits whether they are of God.”
(1 John 4:1)
Disclosure will feel like a spiritual visitation, because it is.
But it will not be the visitation the world thinks. Disclosure Will Challenge the Foundations of Identity. The enemy’s goal is not to reveal beings. It is to rewrite identity.
Scripture says:
“Let Us make man in Our image.”
(Genesis 1:26)
Disclosure will say:
• “You were engineered.”
• “You were seeded.”
• “You were guided.”
• “You were modified.”
This is the attack on the image of God.
If humanity believes it was made by “them,”
then humanity will give its allegiance to “them.”
This is the spiritual core of disclosure.
Disclosure Will Prepare the World for the Man of Sin
Paul writes:
“He will exalt himself above all that is called God.”
(2 Thessalonians 2:4)
How does a man exalt himself above all gods?
By becoming the interpreter of the new revelation.
Disclosure creates the perfect environment for:
• a transcendent leader
• a cosmic mediator
• a representative of “the higher intelligences”
• a savior from the stars
The Man of Sin will not claim to be God.
He will claim to speak for the ones the world believes are gods.
This is the alien narrative as Antichrist platform.
Disclosure Will Pressure the Church Into a Crisis of Scripture
Jesus warned:
“Heaven and earth will pass away,
but My words will never pass away.”
(Matthew 24:35)
Disclosure will tempt the Church to reinterpret:
• Genesis
• the Gospels
• the miracles
• the resurrection
• the ascension
The world will say:
• “Jesus was one of them.”
• “The angels were them.”
• “The miracles were technology.”
• “The resurrection was extraction.”
This is not intellectual pressure.
It is spiritual pressure.
It is the attempt to dethrone Christ by reframing Him.
The Remnant Must Stand in Ephesians 6 as the World Enters a Spiritual Storm.
Paul’s armor is not poetic.
It is prophetic.
The Belt of Truth
When the world embraces a new creation myth.
The Breastplate of Righteousness
When accusation and confusion intensify.
The Shoes of Peace
When the world loses its footing.
The Shield of Faith
When flaming arrows of deception fly.
The Helmet of Salvation
When identity is attacked.
The Sword of the Spirit
When the world rewrites the story.
Praying Always in the Spirit
When the battle becomes global.
This is the Ephesians 6 warfare of the remnant.
Disclosure Will Reveal the Remnant
Jesus said:
“My sheep hear My voice,
and I know them,
and they follow Me.”
(John 10:27)
Disclosure will divide:
• those who know His voice
• from those who know only His name
The remnant will not be deceived because they are smarter. They will stand because they are anchored.
Anchored in:
• Christ
• covenant
• Scripture
• truth
• the Spirit
Disclosure will not create the remnant.
It will reveal them.
The Remnant Must Prepare Now
The remnant must:
• pray
• fast
• read the Word
• speak the Word
• act upon the Word
• walk in the Spirit
• stay in the armor
• remain in Christ
This is not survival.
This is warfare.
This is how the remnant stands in the spiritual event that is coming.
This is how the remnant becomes the visible covenant in the last days.
The wise will understand.
🚨‼️This is exactly why the prophecy circus needs to be called out. Yesterday it was “secret government briefing,” “pastors were warned,” “alien disclosure will shake Christianity,” “no phones,” “no recordings,” and “get the Church ready.”
Today it is “my bad, I mixed the congressman’s words with my own opinion.” So when people questioned it, they were “divisive.” But when the story collapses, suddenly it is just “a misunderstanding.”
That is some very convenient discernment. You cannot light a prophetic fire, throw gasoline on it, let the internet run with it, and then act like “my bad” cleans up the smoke.
This is why the Church needs less secret briefing theater and more Bible. If the Bible says it, preach it. If it is your opinion, label it.
And if you have to walk it back the next day, maybe stop saying “the Church is not ready” like you just came down from Sinai with UFO tablets.
I wish to be very clear about this:
Paul said that if anyone comes to you declaring another Gospel, including angels, to ignore it.
That includes "aliens".
And if aliens were real do you think for a second anyone's reaction would be, "How will the Christians take this?"
The world spends, literally, all day telling us that 6 day creation is false because of evolution. No one consults pastors to see how we like that.
They tell us Christians are wrong about babies in the womb. They don't worry about our feelings on that.
They tell us we are evil, bigoted, backwards, etc all day.
But aliens are suddenly here and their first reaction is to call the church?
You know the Bible already describes a creature that's not human, isn't from Earth, and hates humans and the Creator already.
🚨‼️This does not move me the way some people think it should. If this story is true, it only confirms what Bible believers already knew. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places.
The Bible already told us there are non-human intelligences. We call them angels, fallen angels, devils, unclean spirits, principalities, and powers. The world can rename them “aliens,” “interdimensional beings,” or “our creators,” but changing the label does not change the spirit behind the lie.
And notice the trick: they want your eyes on them. That is always Satan’s method. Get your eyes off Jesus Christ. Get your eyes off the Book. Get your eyes off the blessed hope. Get you staring at the sky, the government, the disclosure, the craft, the creatures, the fear, and the mystery.
But the Church has already been told where to look: “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” That is Titus 2:13.
If these things are coming, they are not coming as a surprise to God. They are not stronger than Christ. They are not greater than the word of God. And they are not able to prevail against the Church. Jesus said, “the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
That is why I do not panic over these stories. I watch. I discern. I compare Scripture with Scripture. But I do not tremble like a man without a Bible.
The Church is not looking for aliens. The Church is not looking for the Antichrist. The Church is not looking for strong delusion. The Church is looking for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Prophecy is real. Deception is real. But panic is not our calling.
One thing I I have learned is that a lot of Nigerians don’t tie their struggles to the dysfunctional system in Nigeria, they think it’s the devil or something
