🚨 Federal watchdog on the brink of collapse.
Toronto Star reports: Canada’s Public Sector Integrity Commissioner says her office is overwhelmed and “on the verge of collapse” from a flood of complaints about wrongdoing in the federal government.
Only 9 investigators. Skyrocketing cases. Funding requests ignored.
This is the office supposed to protect whistleblowers and investigate misconduct at the highest levels.
When even the accountability system is drowning… what does that say about Liberal run Ottawa right now?
Canadians deserve real oversight not a broken watchdog.

The Hormuz crisis is the precipitating factor in the current energy crisis, but the underlying cause is too little oil and gas production outside the Persian Gulf.
Had the world spent the past decade building the oil, gas, LNG, pipeline, and fertilizer infrastructure that engineers designed and companies proposed, the Hormuz crisis would still be a serious geopolitical event, but it would not threaten to cause a recession.
North America
— The Atlantic Coast Pipeline, a 600-mile natural gas line from West Virginia to North Carolina, saw its cost double from $4.5 billion to $8 billion during years of environmental litigation before Duke Energy and Dominion Energy cancelled it in July 2020.
— The Constitution Pipeline from Pennsylvania to New York died the same year.
— The PennEast Pipeline won its case at the United States Supreme Court in 2021 and still could not get built because New Jersey refused to issue state permits.
— In Canada, TransCanada abandoned the $15.7 billion Energy East pipeline in 2017 after the National Energy Board required an unprecedented review of upstream and downstream emissions.
— In January 2024, the Biden administration paused all pending approvals for LNG export terminals shipping to non-free-trade-agreement countries, freezing projects representing tens of billions of cubic feet per day of potential capacity.
— Venture Global’s CP2 terminal in Louisiana, designed for 20 million tonnes per annum, sat in regulatory limbo for over a year.
— NextDecade’s Rio Grande LNG in Texas, with 48 MTPA of planned capacity, stalled alongside it.
— PTT Global Chemical’s proposed $10 billion ethane cracker in Belmont County, Ohio, first announced in 2015, remains on indefinite hold after failing to attract financing partners amid climate-driven investor sentiment.
— Across the US Gulf Coast, nearly 60% of planned plastic and petrochemical production projects sit on hold.
— LNG Canada, the Shell-led terminal at Kitimat, British Columbia, took over six years from construction start to first cargo, with its pipeline running 263% over budget. Environmental review, Indigenous disputes, and contractor cost escalation all contributed.
— Pieridae Energy’s Goldboro LNG project in Nova Scotia, a 10 MTPA facility first proposed in 2012, was abandoned in November 2023 after more than a decade of permitting and financing obstacles.
Australia
— Australia’s Santos’s Barossa gas project was halted midway through construction after a Federal Court ruling overturned its environmental approval.
— Woodside’s Scarborough project faces ongoing litigation from the Australian Conservation Foundation seeking to block it on climate grounds.
Africa
— Perhaps nowhere has the damage been more consequential than in Africa. At COP26 in 2021, wealthy nations pledged to halt overseas development finance for gas projects, a commitment that fell hardest on the continent least responsible for climate change and most in need of energy infrastructure.
— The World Bank stopped financing oil and gas extraction in 2019 and imposed restrictive conditions on downstream gas projects.
— The European Investment Bank announced a complete ban on unabated fossil fuel financing by the end of 2021, with its president declaring that “gas is over.”
— At least 21 other development finance institutions followed suit.
As a result:
— TotalEnergies’ Mozambique LNG project sat under force majeure for four and a half years after the UK Export Credit Agency and other backers withdrew climate-motivated financing.
— The East African Crude Oil Pipeline lost financing commitments from more than 30 major international banks under pressure from climatists.
Europe
— France prevented the completion of a third gas interconnector with Spain, citing climate neutrality goals.
— The United Kingdom imposed a moratorium on fracking in 2019 despite sitting atop one of Europe’s most promising shale gas formations.
— Germany, which shuttered its last three nuclear plants in April 2023, compounded its gas dependency by refusing to develop domestic shale resources.
— CF Industries permanently shut the UK’s largest ammonia plant at Billingham, a facility that also produced 60% of Britain’s food-grade CO2.
— Yara International curtailed output across plants in France, Italy, and Belgium before permanently closing its 400,000 tonne per year ammonia facility at Tertre, Belgium, in October 2024.
These closures occurred because European climate policy made gas too expensive for the domestic industry to survive.
Oh good. Another bank.🤦♀️
Another day, another uncanny “Carney coincidence” where the same cast, the same language, and the same financial choreography from @MarkJCarney's Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ) quietly reappears in a new costume, this time as a defence bank, moving from nudging capital to directing it outright, and once again orbiting the world Mark Carney helped design, where markets take a back seat, decisions drift further from voters, and we’re all expected to nod along as if this is just how things naturally unfold rather than the same blueprint unfolding in plain sight.
There is no way @FP_Champagne came up with this by himself. He can barely come up with a way to open his front door.
Because what Canadians were really crying out for, somewhere between grocery bills and rent, was a brand new “Defence, Security and Resilience Bank.”
Not lower taxes.
Not accountability.
Not money left in their own pockets.
No no.
A $135 billion, state-backed, globally coordinated financial institution… staffed, studied, consulted, headquartered somewhere fashionable…
…to “improve financing structures.”
Of course.
We already have departments.
Agencies.
Funds.
Programs.
“Platforms.”
Task forces.
And now… a bank.
For the other banks.
Backed by the same banks.
Solving problems created by the same system.
RBC. TD. Scotiabank. CIBC. All in.
Nothing says “public interest” like the entire financial sector showing up early with a pen.
And naturally, provinces are lining up to host it.
Because nothing boosts an economy like a shiny new bureaucracy with 3,500 well-paid administrators explaining why nothing measurable has improved yet.
Meanwhile, back in the real Canada:
People are skipping meals.
Kids are priced out of jobs.
Families are doing math at the kitchen table like it’s a survival sport.
But don’t worry.
Ottawa is building a global financing vehicle for defence capital flows.
Because clearly the issue wasn’t mismanagement.
It was a lack of structures.
Another institution.
Another layer.
Another press release.
And somehow… still no results.
But I’m sure this one will be different.
They always are. 🏦🇨🇦

They called Canada the world’s first post national state with no core identity.
They trampled their own citizens with horses and debanked them for protesting their draconian “health” policies.
Then they illegally used the emergencies act to crush them.
They have gradually shut down our resource based economy and made life unaffordable for vast swaths of the population.
They have driven food bank use through the roof with their inflationary monetary policies.
They flooded our country with millions of immigrants (many of whom dislike the native population) and drove the price of housing sky high.
They allowed Chinese police stations to operate within our borders.
They allowed Chinese political actors to intimidate our citizens and meddle in our elections. And now they want a “trade deal” that brings us even closer to an adversary we can’t defend ourselves against.
They neutered our military, put tampons in the men’s room and put a woman in charge who cries publicly about how terrible we are.
Now they want to disarm us and throw us in jail for quoting scripture.
But they “Choose Canada”.
The truth is the Liberals abandoned Canada and its citizens long ago.
Their patriotism is fake and based on nothing more than a fear of orange man bad. The moment Trump is gone they’ll simply finish the job they started ten years ago.
They hate Canada. And they hate you. Only a brainwashed moron would believe otherwise.
Catherine McKenna, @cathmckenna also known as Climate Barbie, is a figure drowning in a cesspool of corruption, incompetence, and downright vile behavior that reeks of arrogance and hypocrisy. This woman, who slithered her way through Canadian politics from 2015 to 2021, left behind a trail of financial mismanagement, ethical scandals, and manipulative tactics that would make even the most hardened cynic gag. As Minister of Environment and Climate Change, she oversaw a disgusting mess of $176.6 million in contracts, where nearly half the paperwork was conveniently missing, and one contractor got a head start before the bidding even closed, stinking of favoritism and incompetence. No excuses for this, just pure, unfiltered negligence that screams corruption at every level. Then, as Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, she managed to lose track of billions, yes billions, of taxpayer dollars, with the Auditor General slamming her for record-keeping so abysmal it was impossible to figure out where the money went.
Before she even oozed into politics, McKenna showed her true colors in 1995, chowing down on dog meat and bribing her way into an illegal cockfight in Indonesia for some twisted travel documentary. This wasn’t some youthful mistake, it was a calculated act of depravity, paying off locals to watch animals tear each other apart while she stuffed her face with canine flesh, all while smirking at the camera. Animal rights activists begged for an apology, but Climate Barbie didn’t give a damn, ignoring the outrage like the cold, heartless creature she is. Fast forward to 2019, and she’s caught on video in a bar, slurring out advice that if you repeat something loud enough, people will believe it, a sleazy admission of how she manipulates the public with her loudmouth tactics in the House of Commons. This isn’t clever politics, it’s a disgusting peek into the mind of a woman who thinks truth is just a volume knob she can crank up to drown out reality.
Then there’s the Trans Mountain pipeline fiasco, where Climate Barbie, the supposed climate crusader, backed the government’s $4.5 billion purchase of a dirty oil pipeline, spitting in the face of every environmental promise she ever made. This wasn’t some tough compromise, it was a blatant betrayal of her own rhetoric, pushing more oil through the system while pretending to care about emissions, a hypocritical move that proves she’s all talk and no spine. And let’s not forget the Volkswagen emissions scandal in 2017, where she got sued by environmental groups for refusing to charge the company, letting big polluters off the hook while she posed as some green savior.
The public saw through her garbage too, pelting her with online hate and threats so bad she needed a security detail, all because her climate policies were as hollow as her soul. They called her Climate Barbie for a reason, a sexist jab she whined about, but it stuck because it fit her plastic, fake persona perfectly. Her office got vandalized, slurs spray-painted on the walls, and she got screamed at in public with her kids in tow, a fitting backlash for someone so full of hot air. And when it came to infrastructure, she couldn’t even keep track of 55,000 projects, leaving 22,000 unaccounted for, a colossal screw-up that’s not just incompetence, it’s borderline criminal. Public forums and social media didn’t hold back, branding her a thieving, lying disgrace over the missing money, and they’re damn right to call her out.
Climate Barbie’s whole career is a rotting pile of corruption and bad faith, from the lost billions to the dog-eating, bribe-paying, loudmouth manipulation she flaunted without shame. She’s a nasty, nasty piece of work, a woman who bumbled through power with zero accountability, leaving Canada worse off while she pranced off to cushy gigs at Columbia University and the UN. No excuses, no redemption, just a legacy of filth that proves she’s as rotten as they come.
@Concern70732755 The share of the national debt for each man, woman and child in this country is FORTY TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS and rising. That does not include the provincial debt. In Ontario add another THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS on top of that. That's still not enough for them.
🚨 I’m losing my care.
I rely on March of Dimes Canada for basic support.
But here in York Region, their services are collapsing.
PSWs are quitting. Programs are being “temporarily closed.”
I’m disabled and paralyzed this isn’t optional. I need help to live.
York Region is facing a $77 million shortfall in health and human services.
Meanwhile, I’m being left to figure out how to survive without care.
📢 I’m calling on:
— Ontario to restore funding
— Wage increases for PSWs
— Immediate action before more of us are abandoned.
— I was offered MAID (Medical Assistance In Dying) instead of care.
This is happening. To me. Right now.
