I went beach area at Vancouver, BC. Volleyball, swimming, some are grill, kayak, paddleboard, sailboat and cargo ships! It's chaos but no polices.

I could get cheap chicket to Japan via AirCanada. That route is to go Canada and stay 1night to catch the flight to Japan. The airplane from PDX to YVR was this.

Hiked the beach. I did short alternate on the road to hit a store when I passed here. Redo the short section was fun, and Oregon Coast was fun! See you, till we meet again.

Moved to the town 'Seaside', where i passed 2 days ago and spent a night. I never knew but this is the biggest tourist town in Oregon coast i could say.

That river mouth is in a kind of some histric area. I went 'Battery Russell', that got Japanese submarine I-25's attack 1942. Being attacked to continental US was rare.
河口付近は歴史的な名所で、自分は「バッテリー砲台」に寄ってみました。日本の潜水艦伊25の攻撃を受けたところです。
I stayed 2nights, saturday and sunday at this state park campground before and after i touched to Columbia river. Only saturday night was crazy. So many campers and bikers!

Been considering to stay in these kind of structures, so finally i did it! But I got light rain in morning so I put my tarp inside.

Finally, I crossed a bay by Ferry! It's just a boat, but works as a shuttle for hikers and bikers. $10 for a board.
ついに「フェリー」で湾を横断しました。ただのモーターボートですが、ハイカーやバイカーの「シャトル」として稼働しています(つまり自転車ごと乗れる)。1回10ドル。
I walked aling railroad here. Locals say everybody do that, since the rocky shore is a playground for them.
ココは線路沿いを歩きました。地元の人らがま「みんなやってるよ」と…なんでも、岸辺がみんなの遊び場だからだそう。
Inner bay wetland that hiker shoud go around on the paved road. I got a good hitch ,could save sone miles.
湿地の内湾の、ぐるっと周りを行く道路。良いヒッチハイクができて、かなり道路歩きを減らせました。
That morning, I woke up early and pushed to the river mouth without eating. It has some deps even on a route that set a mile inland side. The sand was soft so my hip got wet.
