@trumps_kitten@Politics_Polls@DecisionDeskHQ In 1789, the average house member represented 57,169 people. By 1910 they represented 209,447 people. As of 2024, they represent 747,184 people. Maybe an increase is desperately needed?
@ultimate_os @VinPink2 Hopefully not the 222s, I think to meet decarbonisation requirements the only good choice would be new build. Already approaching 20 years old too, to me feels like some of the same mistakes as procuring the HSTs to start with.

@Looby13693743 @Dennynews Rail fares in April 2024 increased by 8.7% in Scotland, quite a significant increase over previous years and above the annual rate of inflation.
@linktonian@The_Hawk_Tweets Sounds good, but what happens when a train is cancelled and every other train for the rest of the day is full? It’s also a fully segregated high speed system, unlike our network which acts as both intercity and a local service in places (HS2 is the solution…).
@iris_frs Modal shift is needed now more than ever in order to reallocate street space, poor decision from the SNP here. Just in time for students going back to uni too.
⚠️ SAFETY ALERT
