Tonight, we wrapped up the 2026 Season at our end-of-year banquet (and proved we can clean up pretty nicely when we aren't in uniform!).

Looking back, we celebrated so much more than just the wins, we celebrated the grit, the endless dugout laughs, the hard work, and the incredible bond this team built from the very first practice to the final inning.

A massive thank you to our amazing coaches, the parents and families who cheered from the stands, and our incredible community for supporting us every step of the way.

First up in our Senior Spotlight series, we are celebrating Madeleine Becker! 🌟

Madeleine has been a force on the diamond since she was 5 years old and has spent all 4 years of her high school career repping the Cougars, alongside playing travel ball for the South Lyon Stealth.

She’s just as dominant in the classroom, graduating high school with an incredible 24 college credits already under her belt and nearly $14,000 in academic scholarships! 📚✨

This fall, Madeleine is heading to Central Michigan University to study Human Biology on a pre-med track. We are so incredibly proud of you, Madeleine!

Clara Groen is not just a 3x All-State statistical unicorn (1K+ points, 444 assists, 330 steals, 123 blocks), she’s a winner (66 career W) who dominated MIAC opponents. 2x MIAC champ, 1x conf MVP & only player in ‘26 class to be 4x All-MIAC. Another 1st Team All-Conference honor!

We are recognizing six standout performances from today's action against Dexter. These athletes showed up in a big way to lead the program on the road!

Madeleine Becker put on a power display at the plate, going 3 for 7 with a double, 5 RBIs, and launching 2 home runs.

Catie Schwegler stayed consistent and dialed in all day, finishing with a solid 3 for 6 performance.

Katie Garnick remained a major spark for the offense, also going 3 for 6 at the dish.

Liz Lucas came through in the clutch for the Cougars, racking up 3 big RBIs.

Chloe McPherson was a force in the circle, dominating the opposition with 10 strikeouts.

Sophia Yamin was lights-out in the series opener, posting a 0.00 ERA to secure the win in the first game.

Great job to these six for their execution and focus. Let’s keep this energy going as we head into our game against Richmond on Thursday! 🥎🔥
