🚨 BREAKING: You can now change your entire phone number in your Pi App. But you have to do a liveness check for that.
Pioneers who couldn't verify their accounts with phone numbers because of wrong numbers, or update their password, can now do so. #PiNetwork
Dear Global Pioneers, Big Congratulations again to Pi Network CT and ourselves!
I can see that all global pioneers are excited and happy after the OM announcement. All groups are very active, as numerous pioneers want to know how can sell their Pi on the exchange market.
Some pioneers are concerned about whether the Pi value is set at $314,159 GCV. Additionally, some exchanges have announced that they will list Pi on February 20th when OM.
Many pioneers are worrying that once Pi is listed on exchange, the price may drop dramatically.
My response is simple: remain calm and trust CT completely.
All pioneers should relax and enjoy the success of the OM. When CT announces the OM, it means they have arranged everything perfectly for us.
The only thing you need to do is to hold off on any actions until the OM.
I am not part of CT, so I don't have all the exact answers, but I have complete faith in them.
I also have 100% trust in Mr. Kosasih. His code will be the official code of CT from my point of view, and it clearly explains everything we need to know.
Pi is a stable coin valued at $314,159. Even when it is listed on the exchange, it will not function as a traditional cryptocurrency for speculation; it will be treated as a stable coin with that fixed value with 5% range fluctuation. There will also be monthly and daily conversion limits as per Mr. Kosasih's code.
So, there's no need to worry about the exchange market. Everything has been arranged well.
However, you should not rush to deposit your Pi into the exchange market wallet. We have only 8 days left, so why hurry? And be careful to protect your wallet because some people probably want to steal your Pi.
Just take it easy. We, the global GCV CT, will continue to support the Pi Network and the pioneers' community toward final success. After the OM, we will still need to help businesses join the Pi Network and continue our educational efforts. Our GCV Ambassador system and Industry Alliance will work to ensure the long-term success of the Pi Network and the health and prosperity of all pioneers.
Best regards,

🚨 BREAKING: Pi Network has upgraded its mainnet to Protocol Version 19.
This is a pivotal advancement in its journey towards a more efficient and scalable blockchain ecosystem in preparation for Open Network launch.
What key enhancements does this bring?
1. Layer 2 Solutions:
With the integration of Layer 2 solutions, Pi Network will now be able to do 1.19 million transactions per second, drawing inspiration from Stellar's Starlight protocol which can handle the same. This increase in transaction speed makes Pi Network more scalable and competitive in terms of performance.
2. Bridging Capabilities:
Bridging facilitates interoperability with other blockchains. This step is crucial for expanding Pi Network's ecosystem, allowing for seamless asset and data transfer between Pi Network and other blockchain platforms. This interoperability not only enhances the utility of Pi coins but also positions Pi Network as a versatile player in the broader blockchain landscape, ready to interact with various decentralized applications and services.
Haha! 😆
I just saw someone comment on our Global GCV Ambassador Mr. Patrick Chau's quote from Indonesia's GCV Ambassador, Mr. Dimas.
This individual argued that it's impossible for the value of cryptocurrency to be embedded in code, claiming that there will never be a fixed price for cryptocurrency.
My response to this individual is:
Yes, that's why we assert that Pi Network is taking a different path compared to traditional cryptocurrencies.
We need to have a GCV!
In traditional cryptocurrency, the price is determined by the supply and demand of the exchange market, which is why it's impossible to have a fixed price in the code. Many people lose money in this market because cryptocurrencies are used for buying and selling, leading to price fluctuations.
Pi will be a real currency, which is why it must have a GCV defined in the code. This is similar to how a government prints its bills, stating values like $1, $10, or $100. If these values were not defined and everyone decided their worth based on agreement, it would create chaos. Every day, people would dispute and quarrel what each bill is actually worth!😆😆😆

Help prepare for Open Network in any way you can—whether you’re a Pioneer, developer, or merchant—so we can collectively move towards the next part of Pi’s journey.
Some Good News!
The account migration has been ongoing, and we are now only 100K away from reaching our 10-million target.
By hook or by crook, we should hit our target within the next seven days.
Our next push should focus on:
- The exact Open Network date.
- Updates on the remaining 80+ DApps.
