@Education_Ire @NormaFoleyTD1 So many ‘Out of school learners’ couldn’t receive a predicted grade and were promised they could sit them at ‘a later date’ all for them to get 70 days to study. Disgusting. Ruining young people’s futures.

A few external candidates received this email on Monday after contacting the CGEO. We waited all day yesterday and received no email. What is being done in regards to external candidates is unheard of! False promises and lies. @McHughJoeTD #leavingcert2020

@BurcaEsther Thank you for the info! Yes this whole situation for external candidates has been so mismanaged. The amount of stress and anxiety it has caused is appalling.

It’s been two weeks since the email for external candidates has been sent out. Still not updates! This is absolutely unacceptable. HPAT results have been released and we don’t even know how we’ll be receiving our grades @McHughJoeTD #leavingcert2020

This is the email leaving certificate 2020 external candidates received regarding calculated grades. That fact that the Minister of Education is considering making some of us wait another year for third-level education because their plan doesn’t suit us is barbaric! #LeavingCert
