Question for anyone teaching Edexcel GCSE History Paper 1: if a student writes a response analysing the content well using direct quotations but no comment on provenance (other than identifying the writer) and no knowledge, is it restricted to level 1? TYIA

@MissHudsonHist I recall this from exam marking trainig last time but reading this one confused me. Seemed to be comments on content and what that meant for the enquiry but not really put into contextual knowledge to really analyse so it stumped me! Thanks :)

As if half term is already nearly over 🤯 but what a successful one it has been! Moved house, emptied and cleaned out 2 apartments, eaten a tonne of food and slept loads 🙌 now to get ready for the challenges ahead 🤞💪
