I cannot stress this enough, if you see children, dogs or adults being exploited on video- please look at how you can report this. Google is your friend. Don't just comment. Do you have concerns? research as to how you can pass in these concerns on to the right organizations.
If you look in the mirror it might surprise you.
Some of our choices on here are no different than the subject you ridicule.
Attention seeking and 'highlighting' someone's behavior, can have similar attributes.
You don't have to agree with someone's choices or behaviors.
How we 'choose' to call those choices out, has consequences.
How would you like someone to call out your worst choices?
How we are called 'out' may encourage authentic change or it may, encourage defensiveness
@Freebir97491791@LrinceCarter 'Normal' people do this all the time. A garden of flowers in honour of someone who has died, does not make the criteria for concern and need of mental health treatment.
For those going through actual 'mental health treatment' where grief is present, this has been suggested.
If in doubt, there is research behind the social media phenomena of 'seek help' and the conscious and subconscious motivation behind said comments.
It's a hard truth.
If you want someone to honestly 'seek help?' find a way to connect with them. authernticy goes a long way.
Please STOP with using mental health issues as a reason to call someone out. 'Tin foil hat', 'seek help' and 'seek rehab' comments; are not said in actual concern or worry and you know it
It's judgemental and it's meant to hurt or bully the person to conform to your comfort zone
@outofideas00 I'm truly sorry for your loss. That recently happened to me. It was a huge shock. It's going to feel surreal for a while. My heartfelt condolences to you and hid family. I hope his son has a lot of support around him and I hope you do too.
2/2 Many addicts had mental health issues long before they tried to self medicate to ease their suffering. Many of those diagnoses, are exacerbated by addiction. They aren't always created by addiction.
1/2 Addiction can change a person. Many in recovery can look back and be disgusted at who they once were.
However, we do a great disservice to the complexity of mental health and addiction, by assuming the person would not be the way they were if they weren't an addict.
A lack of understanding around mental health issues is obvious, from those that continue to say that someone who is acting erratically, needs an intervention.
This may come as a shock, but just like with cancer treatment, you can be getting the help needed but still have 'cancer'
@anonymous2020_@FeelFreeToPanic This is quite vile. However, not shocking from a narcissistic parent. It is extremely sad. I'm so glad the children went no contact. I hope they have not read this.
@Jessica53050649 @ShillerHiller It's extremely common to have gas on hand when in labour in the UK. It's used to alleviate labour pains. The midwife usually provides it.

@jmadison60@LrinceCarter Or perhaps teenagers coming out of the care system, who have been left with no structure in place to help them? Not all take drugs. Perhaps a simple phone call to an organization that works with the homeless who are mandated to have stats ( for funding) would be happy to chat.
@jmadison60@LrinceCarter I'd be happy to. Do we start with the financial crash where whole families lost their homes and lived in tent cities for months? Or the countless of homeless men and women I met who found themselves homeless due to Mental health ( no drugs), DV, poor financial choices?
