The fourth and final day of the 2026 IIJL Commonwealth Cup featured a single championship game, coined "The Monsoon in Melbourne", and was the most competitive and contested final game in the event's history.

During the 2026 COMCUP Australian Box Lacrosse will be hosting a Box Lacrosse Coaching Clinic focused on how to best transition field lacrosse players to box lacrosse. The expert coaches panel is headlined by 2x NLL General Manager of the Year Marty' O'Neill.
