The conventional method of "read,write, signature,became literate" is enhanced further under NEP-2020.

All those who are certified are became literates as on ending of "academic year" 2025-2026.
-but plfs 2025 gave data about that "calander year".

So obviously this Ullas certifications could not be reflected in plfs data.
We can wait until next report👍

"New India literacy programme"
Named "Akshara Andhra" in AP.

Who ever qualify the test under this scheme are called "Literates"..

More than 28lakhs people qualified so far in two years of TDP tenure.
