One tweet changed the whole trajectory of my life.
Today is D-Day. Detransition Day.
It’s the one year anniversary of me coming out as detrans. The tweet heard around the world.
This is the story of that tweet and how one decision can change everything.
At 6:59 a.m. on 6/11/2025, I hit post on this. I was getting ready for work. I had court at 8 a.m. I hit post, and I didn’t think too much about it. I had absolutely no comprehension of what was about to happen to my life.
I tweeted this to hold myself accountable to leaving trans behind, not to blow up everything I once knew.
I had lit a match next to gasoline without realizing it.
I went off to court at 8. I forgot all about the tweet.
I’ll never forget when I realized what was happening. I was standing in court, giving my files to the bailiff, and I checked my phone. It was going absolutely berserk with notifications from every app you could think of.
Finally, I saw a text: “JK has entered the chat!”
I remember driving home from court like a bat out of hell because I needed to be monitoring the situation ASAP. I thought, “Oh, this is just a small fire to put out.”
By the time I got home from court and looked, the situation was a raging inferno that no firefighters could have controlled.
Trans Twitter crashed the fuck out that day. Meltdowns all around me. I became Trans Judas overnight. This tweet went viral here and spread across the other socials.
I was trending on Twitter for two whole days after this. My first name was what was trending: “Hendrix.”
This catapulted me into the stratosphere of infamy in the trans community. But not in a good way.
The fallout with the LGBTQ+ community was swift. The very next day, I was kicked off the board of Affirmations, an organization I’d been involved with for 30 years.
The cancellation had begun.
I was an instant apostate.
Just like that, after a generation of activism, sacrifice, and service to the community.
One year later, I made it.
I survived a year of relentless attacks, doxxing, harassment, defamation, threats, and trans insanity.
I lost everything I spent 30 years building because I told the truth in this tweet.
And I would do it all over again.
My mother often tells me that I’m suicidally brave. Maybe she’s right.
That’s why the comeback is personal for me in 2026.
Our entire point is that bad men don’t stop being bad men the moment they put on a dress & call themselves a woman, and “Ms Starshine” here (seriously) is proving us right.
MP Emily Thornberry joins 120 colleagues in support of men like this to have unfettered access to female-only spaces with your daughters, nieces, mothers, female friends.
And she turns off replies because she’s doesn’t want to hear dissent.
A Pride organiser has been found guilty of breaching a bail order imposed after he downloaded child abuse images.
Former Stirling Pride officer 'Amelia' Connolly told police in April that he'd lost his phone - but posted a live TikTok stream the next day.

90% of countries in the world can own their water but not us. People in England want their water back. But the government is protecting private water profiteers.

More than 100 academics have urged the University of Oxford to reinstate a lecture series that was cancelled after protests from trans activists.
In the letter, published in The Times on Thursday, they wrote: “It appears that the university proctors authorised and facilitated protests inside the lecture theatre and did nothing to remove miscreants."

A short thread of truth bombs dropped by Mary Ann Stephenson of the EHRC to MPs yesterday.
"It is not us making the law, it is us explaining what the law requires"
This is a sexual assault—unknowingly captured by a mom filming her daughter’s wrestling match.
Kallie didn’t know her opponent was male. But she knew something was very wrong.
Today @ADFLegal helped Kallie sue the WA officials who placed gender ideology above her safety. 🧵⬇️
A six year old girl was in her home during a domestic incident. Police were called. A uniformed officer arrived to help.
That officer, PC Dean Dempster, took her away from his colleagues to take her statement. And then he sexually assaulted her.
When his devices were seized the next day.. thousands of images of children being abused. Over 100 at the most serious level. Children's underwear at his home. His own face superimposed onto child abuse images.
He spent the night after assaulting her deleting evidence from his phone.
Nine years. Sex offenders register for life.
A six year old girl called the police for help and was abused by one of the officers who showed up... 🤦🏻♀️😵💫
How are parents supposed to explain that to their children and why are we still acting surprised when predators actively seek out roles that give them access? #police #Fail #awareness #predator #share
I’m pleased to say that Bella and Twinkle made it to the vet today for their yurvac vaccine.
Sadly they have both got dental
Problems.
One has sharp spurs and the other has elongated teeth that will likely develop into spurs.
Both having a “wave” mouth meant that it is highly likely they will have continued dental problems for the rest of their lives.
To develop dental issues as 5 year old rabbits can be attributed to a multitude of factors, diet, physical development, or simply because it’s always been waiting to erupt.
We don’t adopt out rabbits with pre existing conditions and look forward to their safe return, along with their bonded partner, Fawn so that they can receive medical attention ASAP. ❤️❤️
