@PlantDietitian Hi @PlantDietitian! In my fourth year of kinesiology and loving your content! Beginning my transition towards a plant-based diet and the more I learn the more upset I am with how little info is out there for the general public...a few more reasons to eat more plants below!:)
Here is a link addressing the dangers red meat consumption has on health and more specifically Cardiovascular Disease. https://t.co/8TwnzIUCtA It is important to substitute some meat consumption for healthier plant-based protein sources to promote better health!
Recently in #EM203Robin I have had the opportunity to learn about the learning theory of collectivism. Collectivism is the idea that knowledge and information is obtained through different networks such as differences of opinions and ideas of others.
@vess6360em203 Well said Madison, it really is a blessing the options students have in this day and age to streamline their successes. All we have to do is find what learning style or styles best fit us and we can better consolidate all of the information we take in everyday
@EM203DPereira Well said! I really could not imagine being in university without the overlooked conveniences we have in 2019! It makes you wonder just what the future has in store for us!
@em203MBabir Hey Mike, I'm glad the course is having such a positive impact on you. I hope after finishing this course, you and I both can translate everything we have learnt and apply it to future presentations, teaching opportunities and so much more!
@kaeleyallen2 Hey Kaeley, glad to hear you are learning lots! It's interesting to reflect on our learning experiences and ponder how much more we may have consolidated if we had all the forms of learning that we do today!
@RenderHarrison Hey Harrison, I recently learned about Collectivism too! It's crazy to think just how often we actually use collectivism, whether it be in group projects or open classroom discussions!
Learning in the digital age can facilitate everyone's learning and knowledge! With such a vast array of options for conveying information, we can accommodate all types of learners to help personalize and improve the learning experience for all. #EM203Robin
