Last week, I finished my first semester in the Master’s program in Agricultural Systems Technology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln🇺🇸

This semester was not just about classes and credits.

It was about adjustment, growth, and learning how to stretch my brain in ways I did not expect.

Having been in the United States 🇺🇸for less than five months, starting graduate school at the same time meant adapting to a new academic system, new expectations, and a faster pace of life.

I completed 11 credit hours, taking courses such as Sensors and Control for Agricultural Industries , Resilience Design in Agriculture, Graduate Foundations, and Statistics.

Some days felt smooth, while others felt like my brain was being rewired in real time.

Group projects, presentations, and long problem-solving sessions pushed me to think deeper, ask better questions, and get comfortable with uncertainty.

And then there was the weather. Nebraska weather definitely has mood swings. One day it felt like summer, the next day winter showed up without warning.

In a way, it perfectly matched the rhythm of the semester itself, unpredictable but memorable.

I am grateful to the professors for their guidance and high standards, and to the students and teammates I worked with on group projects for the collaboration and shared learning.

I also want to sincerely thank the team and colleagues at Cultivate ACCESS Nebraska for the support, encouragement, and sense of community throughout this first semester.

Your mentorship and teamwork made a real difference in my transition and learning experience.

As the year comes to a close, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🌲🎅🤍❤️

I am honored to be nominated as Best Agribusiness Man of the Year 2025 at the Vision 2050 Summit and Awards.

To be honest, I did not see this coming.
I was just a person posting about farmers, soil, and tractors — not expecting an award for it.

But here we are.

A few years ago, I started sharing stories about farmers online.

Some posts got three likes — two from my friends and one from from my brother.

But I kept going.

I kept writing, even when the internet stayed quiet.
I believed that one day, the right story would find the right reader.
And slowly, that happened.

People started paying attention.
Stories spread, conversations grew, and suddenly agriculture didn’t look boring anymore.

It became digital.
It became inspiring.
It became something young people could be proud to talk about.

Now more than 126,000 #people follow my journey on X.
Over 68,000 connect with me on LinkedIn .

And more than 300,000 others read about what is happening in the agriculture value chain.

This nomination is not about fancy titles.

It is about showing that farmers deserve the spotlight too.

They are the real influencers — they just work with dirt instead of filters.

I have met so many passionate young people who believe agriculture is not old-fashioned.

They see it as a space for creativity, innovation, and community.

And that gives me hope every single day.

So yes, I am grateful.
