Over the past couple weeks we have moved from election night to building the foundation of a new administration. We launched our transition website, announced a 100 member transition committee, and brought people from across King County together for our first meeting to begin shaping policy priorities.

Next week I will be sworn in as King County Executive, followed by a Regional Day of Service where we invite the whole region to give back. In early December we will announce a few senior leadership roles, share proposals for restructuring the Executive Office, and begin interviewing and hiring for the rest of the office. Interviews will continue through December as we prepare to officially begin on January 5.
