Did you guys know there is a biker gang called rescue ink that breaks up dogfighting rings, confronts animal abusers, confiscates neglected animals and investigates
stolen animals
💭 With the recent news about Yuehua Entertainment’s efforts to make sure #WangYibo renews, let’s have a rundown of who will gain and lose once that contract expires on October 16th.
YH’s offer: A bonus of more or less ¥5 million per year with a four-year lock-in period
However, Wang Yibo earns ¥495 million in a year. The ¥5 million bonus is just chump change to him.
YH loses its core revenue generator. They have tied half of their life to Wang Yibo. YH is a company that is heavily reliant on Wang Yibo, with 60% of its revenue coming from him.
Wang Yibo loses nothing if he doesn’t renew. Wang Yibo himself is now an IP. Whatever he touches turns to gold. Wang Yibo had already been quietly laying the groundwork for his personal commercial ventures. More than half of his acting works are not because of Yuehua, but because the director has reached out personally to him.
Wang Yibo joined Yuehua Entertainment at the age of 13 and has been with them for 15 years. He dedicated his entire youth to this run-down company. He worked his way to the top and became its backbone.
After he renewed his contract in 2022, YH announced that it had applied for listing on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (SEHK). He became the main catalyst for YH to become a listed company. And without any further news about his contract renewal, YH’s Hong Kong-listed shares have fallen by nearly 20% in Q1 of 2026.
Even YH’s board of directors revealed that they do not see him as an employee but as their main service provider and an irreplaceable asset. Hence, they have announced their efforts to make sure Wang Yibo will continue his partnership with them.
🚨 As a full-line Global Ambassador, #WangYibo will make history again as he attends three runway shows at Paris Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2026, for the second year in a row.
