@plasdwr Have you ever considered that it may be a rather good PR exercise on your part to get one of your guys (or gals) in one of your nice vans to park up in the village and keep an eye out? Prevention rather than reaction sort of thing?
Hey @plasdwr 👋 Would be good if you could stop the lorries that have been thundering through Radyr on their way to your developments since the schools have reopened. They are not really helping with the ‘active travel’ thing that you so regularly tweet about. Cheers.
The masterplan for Plasdŵr shares @cardiffcouncil’s vision to reduce congestion and single-use car journeys.
Our active travel network will make it easier for people to choose more sustainable, greener ways of getting around 🚶🚴🚌
Feels like it’s TT race day here in Radyr today. Some incredible speeding on roads busy with families taking a walk in the sunshine. @GoSafeCymru would love you to pay us a visit 🙏 Its pretty scary out there! @SWP_Roads
@WreckingRadyr @jontutoring He obviously doesn’t appreciate that many of us tried to get a northbound entry opened at J33 to handle all this traffic because we could see what was coming!
Potential story here @mattdiscombe . a house builder building a new town the size of Aberystwyth... and there’s an aggregate quarry 2 miles away but currently they aren’t legally allowed to access it... yet out of the blue the council propose making it legal 🤔🧐
WTAF is this? A TRO proposal to have the boundaries redrawn so CEMEX quarry is included within ‘7.5 tonne except access’ limit? That means 44tonne lorries legally coming through Radyr to quarry from Plasdwr https://t.co/8HlAhKqyQs @MarkDrakeford@KevinBrennanMP @huwthomas_Wales
According to the #Radyrchain it is “scientifically proven” that 20 zones cause more pollution. Of course they provide no reference..they have lower editorial standards than Fox News. For those that care, here is a the most comprehensive literature review: https://t.co/je6nEX1Ne3
@RMHub@PhilJones33 I agree that accepting financial support from Plasdwr developers sends a message that does not align with the current mood (to put it mildly). Doesn’t the RMCC already receive enough funds from its residents to allow the festival events to be self funded?
@RMHub@cardiffcouncil@plasdwr@MarkDrakeford@KevinBrennanMP@RandMCCouncil this village is now synonymous with traffic. It’s the first thing anybody says when you say the word Radyr (shortly followed by horrific road safety). It’s massively affecting people’s health, well being &eventually the value of their homes. What do u plan for 2020?
Our apologies to customers affected by a #powercut in #Morganstown#CF15. Engineers are working on it and estimate to restore all supplies by 10:30. David.
This is absolutely insane! 6 cars not stopping for a waiting pedestrian. When are you going to do something about pedestrian safety in Radyr @cardiffcouncil@CaroWild @huwthomas_Wales @MarkDrakeford@KevinBrennanMP ?? This is directly outside a primary school!
