🚩 DDD-like structures and patterns
🚩 Standalone Git repositories for internal libs
🚩 Makefile (if not using C/C++)
🚩 Non-mainstream languages

All of these have perfectly valid use cases... but they are too often misused.

Architecture reviews are, I think, valuable. Hardly anybody does that, though (and there's no point if you have no will to make changes). A code review—where you're looking at only a small bit of code in isolation—is not nearly so useful.
