Our bean seeds are germinating! ๐ฑ ๐ซ We noticed many changes over the last few days - seeds cracking open, roots growing, shoots popping out and even seedlings/stems starting to grow! We have been documenting our observations through words and diagrams in our Plant Journal.

We are applying our knowledge of materials & structures to design and build a shelter for our classroom stuffy, Digger the Dog! ๐ถ ๐ We agreed that the shelter must have a roof, walls, floor, a comfortable area for Digger to sleep & a water resistant exterior!

We have been learning about the harmful effects of single use plastics to our environment. We read โNo More Plasticโ by Alma Fullerton and were inspired to take action & create change! We decided to clean up our school playground and filled FIVE bags of waste! #EarthProtectors
