@Esjaywallis @neilayates Depends on the organisation but different structure can help with financial sustainability and central resources can help with school improvement, support for SEND etc #ukgovchat
@neilayates A bit of an assumption yes. As schools convert the LA has lower funding left to support remaining schools and support tends to reduce but may not be universally true #ukgovchat
@neilayates Yes. LGB role is v different from maintained school GB and it’s not for everyone. Important the board is clear what they want from LGBs and reinforces the value the LGBs provide to overall governance of the trust #ukgovchat
@JaPenn56 Also some parents not always as understanding or supportive as they might be and dealing with some of that for the HT can take a load off #ukgovchat
@5Naureen Gather evidence and make sure you’re aware of all the facts. It’s easy to assume someone is not acting ‘appropriately’ based on hearsay or some of the info #ukgovchat
@EatSleepGovRT Not sure about new ones - I think it will be all the usual ones. Funding/costs rising faster than income, lack of support for SEND etc. #ukgovchat
